New York-based artist, Robyn Love, has been living and working in-residence at Hope and Glory to create a sound and drawing installation over the course of ten days. The installation, titled Not Stained Not Pure includes sounds she collected in New York before coming to Berlin as well as sounds she has recorded since arriving. A series of diary-like drawings, along with a wall drawing that has been worked on and erased each day of her stay, also will be featured.
Robyn Love lives and works in Queens, New York. She has exhibited at galleries and museums internationally and has received project grants to create new work from private and public fundors. Recent projects include a New York City Percent for Art commission and a large-scale, multimedia installation titled The House Museum in Gillams, Newfoundland.
